TKO in Spoke vs. Plaxo Deathmatch! Learn which online contacts organizer won a real life battle.

Lack of acceptance is what killed Spoke in this Deathmatch vs Plaxo.

A week ago we announced: Deathmatch: Spoke vs. Plaxo.  May the best online contact manager win.

The Winner is in by a knock out!  Plaxo crushed Spoke on every count.

We are just going to put Spoke out of its misery here.  No need for a two week evaluation the result are clear (click here for original contest).  All thumbs down for Spoke and all thumbs up for Plaxo.  Let the Lions now enter the Colosseum to clean up…

The basic promise of both services is to automate contact management.  To primarily help you keep your contacts up-to-date.  Both services extend their offerings in different ways and we did not try to compare services head to head, although how they extend their offerings does show up as aspects of the evaluation criteria.

Spoke vs. Plaxo Deathmatch! or should I just use LinkedIn?

Deathmatch: Spoke vs. Plaxo.  May the best online contact manager win.

Spoke.com has recently gotten some buzz in the Social Media world as worth taking another hard look at vs. Plaxo. Both Plaxo and Spoke are Web Based Applications that can also integrate into MS Outlook to help you manage and organize contacts.   As we all know, keeping up to date on e-mail changes, addresses, Skype IDs and the like is a huge hassle. The idea of a fire and forget service that will keep them up-to-date for you is compelling.

So I’ve scheduled a Deathmatch: Plaxo vs. Spoke using friends, family, and contacts from around the world as volunteer, um, lab rats. Results of the Deathmatch will be posted here in 2 weeks time (November 4th, 2010). If you want to participate or have an opinion then sign up for one or ideally both and send your feedback to me here or by direct mail.
